System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our IT team and ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing servers, networks, and systems, providing technical support, and implementing security measures to protect company data and resources.

What you will do

Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.
Implement system backups and disaster recovery solutions.
Perform security updates, system upgrades, and regular maintenance.
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries to enhance community engagement.
Ensure systems are secure using firewalls, VPNs, and antivirus tools.
Provide end-user support and resolve technical issues.
Document system configurations, procedures, and updates.
Collaborate with other departments on system implementations and upgrades.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a System Administrator.
Proficiency with Windows Server and/or Linux systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS).
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and server administration.
Hands-on knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and security practices.
Familiarity with backup and recovery tools such as Veeam or Acronis.
Experience with system monitoring tools like Zabbix, Nagios, or similar.
Understanding of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well independently and within a team.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Preferred certifications: MCSA, RHCSA, CCNA, or other relevant IT certifications.
Location: Egypt.
